Classic 500 ownership

I got this bike on 27-Nov, Since then I have been happy riding the bike.

have done 550kms on it. A couple of long rides, to break in the Engine. The engine is a gem of its class. The breaks are well made. The shocks are stiff enough. Though with a Ground clearance of 135 it has not hit any bumper till now. Tested the breaking capabilities on wet smooth cemented roads on my basement. It was good grips for its surface. Once did a 180deg skid and still the bike never felt like falling. Thats something special about this bike.



did a max speed on about 105km/hr. It was just 1/3 of the throttle. It felt that the big is no way near to its top speed. Pretty happy to own one myself.

The mileage in bangalore City is around 34.5 kmpl

The tappet noise is less at idling. It increases upto 2.5K rpm then on No tappet noise. Noise is very noticeable on deceleration.
