day 12: Hanle to Chumur

Time taken from Hanle to Chumur = 7 hrs.
Distance = 150kms apprx

The next day we freshened up faster and was all set to roll the 4 wheels. One of employee at the base was also goign to Chumur to his in-laws place. As there was not enough place the other jeep that will start around 10, we gave him a lift. (later, it turned to be our luck as he knew the route well).

To Chumur, we should take the same route that goes towards the observatory cross over the hill and enjoy the dirt roads. :0) It took us long to reach Chumur crossing mountains after mountains and most of the time not knowing if thats the route. Good that there were no rains the previous day that we had the jeep tracks that lead to Chumur. Chumur was the last village on that road.

All through the road we spotted this guy, he gets immense pleasure in chasing us underground. He peeps his head at hole, runs fast to the other, gets in, crosses the road underground and peeps from the other side.
	our driver 'regjin' was fond of chasing these guys
	You should get this lake on your left while going to Chumur. i.e we should climb the mountain to your right.


	This village should be to your right, climb the mountain to ur left

Hurray!!! First sighting of Humans so Chumur is near!!
