Leisure Ride to the Land of Lama

This is a travelogue about a small team of 3 comet GT250s, one P200 and another photographer making to the land of Lamas, the leh-ladhak on the Mighty Himalayas from Bangalore. The highlights of this trip is that this is the first time ever a comet GT250 has gone to such high altitudes and come back riding. Also this is our maiden trip to Himalayas.

The Highlights of the Trip
1) Marsimik La/marsmikla - The pass higher than Khardungla ->Pangong Tso Porbhang and marsmikla
2) Hanle - Worlds Highest Observatory -> Hanle Observatory
3) Chumur - A remote village in the Indo-China Border where a Witch's hands and Torso are hung -> Chumur Temple

Day 2: Chandigarh to Manali
Day 3 : Manali to Keylong
Day 4 : Keylong - barlachala - sarchu - Pang and AMS
Day 5 : Pang - Moore Plains - Taglangla - Rumtse - Leh
Day 6 : Leh - Permits and Bike maintenance
Day 7 : leh - karu - zingral - Changla - Darbuk -Tangste
Day 8 : Pangong Tso Porbhang and marsmikla
Day 9 : Pangong Tso - Chushul and Leh
Day 10: Kardhungla (Ktop)
Day 11: Hanle
Day 12: Hanle to Chumur
Day 13: Chumur temple and the night under the stars
Day 14: Chumatang Leh and stay at Rumtse
