Day4 - Khadala Lonavala, night at Daman

day4 dec 18 : Khandala:
We got up early in the morning and left to amby valley to see the sunrise.. The raid was awesome with bald mountains all around.. there was a fort kind of stuff above a mountain.. inquired the route to the place but none was able to tell... Let the pics speak the rest

After a pleasant ride from the Amby valley.. we can back to our resort around 12... Decided to ve a late lunch.. packed our bags fast and sarted towards Mumbai....
Our first break came a bit early.. We stopped for some beauty...




We had a nice view of the expressway.. it was right below us say from 250ft and could see SUVs zooming on that...
After another 50kms we had a chance to ride on the expressway... Ripped the bikes on full throttle... I made sure that I dont cross the lanes amack... so there was a couple of tight curves at 110 kmph .. but my friend didnt mind anything.. was crossing lanes on all curves... yup its a bit dangerous to allow 2 wheels on the expressway...

But our fun was for a short time.. we were soon diverted out of the expressway... Soon we crossed panvel and at a place we saw a board saying Mumbai to the right but the tucks were heading straight.. we were bit confused... spotted 2 cops having pan after their lunch.. we guided us to take the right and continue untill we get a flyover and then take a left and continue... he said that we should go via thane and reach 'Godhbandar'(sorry for the spelling.. ).. But where these trucks were heaing to Goa?
on the way we saw a board which said that navi mumbais airport planned here (or something similar..) then reached the flyover and headed straight.. the Roads were jus awesome... but I felt that my frnd was a bit slow so opend the throttle and crossed him... I had a small peep on his speedo.. man he too was on 100+.. yup the MUmbai roads were too good.. 6 laned
We were getting dehydrated.. cause of the non stop ride.. butts soring.. but still didnt stop as we wanted to reach daman by sunset.. after an hour we reached Ghodbunder .. time was around 3... and still around 200+ kms for daman... yup we felt quite possible...
we found a restrnt on the way and stopped for lunch man we made us wait for 45 mins.. and the lunch took almost 1 hr... phew !!
then again ripped north.. we saw first sign boards for Delhi.. 1100+ kms... It was fun cutting through the traffic... afer about 75km for highly concentrated drive we stopped for a liquid break.. it was a nice 10 mins break... we empty a litre bottle... Then again started ripping again... Now the traffic was a bit less.. and am sure that I would ve touched some very high speeds... followed a Scorpio for a long time... both me and my bull was going crazy.... I did over take him many times... will get into his slip stream and come out with good speed and will zoom past him... but after a min I will feel in secure(was worried what if the roads get bad without any warnings..).. so will let him pass me.. the passengers on the scorpio took a few snaps of me...

With all this drama I lost my frnd... Opps! I realized that am now in reserve.. so found a HP bunk on the other side of the road crossed the road with caution and fueled up.... then I see my frnd chasing a lancer... smiled to myself.. and then hurried to catch him... after a few kms I saw him jus stoping for a leak break... the whole 1/2 l that we drank came out..
We could see the su setting as we neared daman.. took the deviation from Nh to nani Dama and reached the Beach as soon as possible but.. the sun has set already and all I can get was this.... Curse that restrnt



Then got a resort for a good rate... Man the drinks were so cheap there.. the Wine's rate was just 150.. ordered 1 immediately.. I smelled it and took it with full pleasure... shit !!!.. It tasted soo bad.. Never tasted such a bad wine... we threw the bottle and went with the beers.. the breeze was good... we were on bed by 11 and planned to go by 6am...

I was feeling a bit unsatisfied.. cause I ve jus taken from 50 snaps till now...
