day 9 - Jodhpur

Got up around 7am and had a nice bath, food and left to explore the forts. We just took my bike as the pulsar was showing some tiredness. We first rode my bike to UMAID BHAWAN PALACE

















There were lot of antiques I really like the clocks. clicked a few that I liked. But I was expecting things which will 16 or 17th century everything was from the 20th century... :( but ok its all worth the visit.


Had a coffee at the garden restarnt relaxed for a while and moved to MEHRANGARH FORT. The Location of the fort was strategic. There wer nice cannon and balls :)

After a full visit to the fort we came down to see the jaswant thada. We were just late. the entry closes by 5 and it was 5;05.. They didnt allow us so felt this suckss... and moved on... Then we went to the mandore garden. I really loved Jodhpur. The military has laid nice roads and they were tourism friendly.. :)

Garden should ve been the best place in the past. Tall Temples and nice sculptures. But it was poorly maintained. Guess it was the drunkards' hub would spot only empty/broken liquor bottles inside. yet there was a well maintained temple at the end. I didnt like it though it had lost its ancient look. hmm am not a archeological expert :D



















We then reached the hotle. Good that we got the visiting card of the hotle as we ve lost track now.. ;) We had a little chit chat with the owner. He was excited seeing the bikes(Reg numbers). He wanted us to go to jaisalmer. I was already dying to go there.. (That time I had already prepared a plan for another northy ride which will include jaisalmer... ;) ) we came up and discussed..... ditched the Jaipur plan and decided to go to Jaisalmer.. The plan was to leave early by 3.
