day 7 palampur to Mount Abu

We really felt fresh the next morning.. as usual we were ready by 9 and rolled out wheels... Soon we crossed the Gujarat- raj border... it our 5th state :) the roads were deserted and little hot too.. we saw military trucks carrying tankers, missile launchers... They were really Hugeeeeeee.........

By 12 we entered a small toen... I stopped by instinct and asked the route to Mnt Abu.. Was surprised, I had stopped exactly at the junction.... jus then my frnd passed me(we was overtaking a truck), He too stopped and saw me.. we were happy.. (U know almost every other day we were back tracking.. :( )
Took a small break....




Soon we were out of that town and moved left on the Fork towards Mount Abu(the other goes to Jodhpur)... The heat was reduced by the shades on either side.. the Abu Dog :rolleyes: welcoming Us... :D



The up climb on Mount Abu was a bit steep.. I played with the turns for a while.. there were signs "Check ur Break" every now n then.. its the first time am seeing such a sign brd.. :) Then on a fine turn the cramster pulled itself more.. and I had to stop.. tied the tentacles properly and another solid rope around my crash gaurds to hold them stiff.. ;)

We reached the top by 3.. Again I noted some strange behaviours in my frnd.. driving style too.. I seriously wanted to know the reason.. I asked him R u missing ur family?? fight with a GF?? and he gave the answer.. he was HUNGRY..!!
If I recollect.. on the Amul issue too he didnt ve proper food.. on Rajathan too it was 4 and too late.... Aha!! this guy goes crazy when he is hungry... and then on I made sure that I carry some food for him.. (and it worked fine... ;)
We had food first.. and then searched from gvt cottages.. but in vain then settled in a hotel beside the Nakki lake.. by 6 we set out for the sunset... ;)

The moon was quick..

A hell a lot of crowd.. the whole of tourists were there... (nice chicks U know.. :)












After the sunset.. we snailed back glancing the beautiful dolls and toys near by... We then set out to go for a small ride around the town... came to the lake and took on pics...



With all these.. i had happily left my helmet here and moved away... after purchasing a few handicrafts from a shop i remembered about my helmet.. Ran back searching but in vain.. then a Women in a hut beside that area called and gave me the Helmet.. Her husband claimed 100 for his quarter..

Came back home and we made friends with the Mc & RC and snored again...
