Previous | Home | |
managed to get up early in the morning to start our sight seeing.... its was cold in the beginning...
our First Destination was the toad rock.. Since its to the east of the lake I felt I can get from glittering views to the lake... and ya I was right...

BTW: By now my feet has become ok to do some climbings with little hoppings...

The toad rock....

We had some chai and biscuits.. we were on empty stomach and By now U know how important it is...

From there we moved towards Honey Moon point... but it looked more like Suicide point...

After this we went to Trevor's Tank... yuk I didnt like it at all.. no snaps...
Then we moved to Gurushikhar and gaumukh temple... Man the climb was soo steep and I had to carry helmet and the jackets... But It all worth it...

From there we moved to the Jain temple...

A trek after the Jain temple gives U the un tampered views of nature...

After all sight seeings we reached the hotel by 4. Then packed our bags, tied them on the bikes and we were all set for the down hill by 5:30. I got strict instructions from my friend that I should follow him and never play with the corners. I obliged And we reached the foot of the hill by 6:30. Then asked the locals for the route towards Jodhpur and started driving within a few kilometers I found that my bike was not pulling well. I had to open more throttle than usual to attain the same speed. Stopped and checked. the rope around the cramsters go loose and was touching the tyre. Removed the ropes, topped up and moved towards Jodhpur. The traffic was high initially but every multi wheeler was cruising around 60-70s. so had to downshift to get the power. After some 50 kms the roads were damm straight. We initially found it difficult to judge the distance of the coming vehicles. We would wait patiently behind the trucks for the other one to pas through but even after minutes the lights will appear to be at the same distance. Thats is when we learnt that we ve reached the straight roads of Rajasthan. There were a few trucks which had only their left lights on, which really confused us. Then another learning there are no changes of two wheelers so every light is a huge truck. We crossed Pali.
Since we were very busy riding we forgot that time is already 10 and there on villages for 40 50 kms and whenever a village came we didnt find dabbas too.. at last we reached Jodhpur around 11;30. Took help from the cops and they guided us to Raman Lodge. The room was pretty ok with a cost of 750 Per night. There was not even a 10% chance of us getting dinner that late but still we asked and as expected nothing was available. So slept empty stomach that night
